1. Skeletal System (Bones & Joints)

Bones: Provide structure and support to the body. The human body has 206 bones in adulthood.

Joints: Connect bones and allow movement (e.g., knee joint, elbow joint).

Skull: Protects the brain.

Spine (Vertebral Column): Supports the body and protects the spinal cord.

2. Muscular System (Muscles)

Helps in movement, posture, and blood circulation.

There are three types of muscles:

Skeletal Muscles (voluntary, like arms & legs).

Smooth Muscles (involuntary, like in the digestive system).

Cardiac Muscle (found only in the heart).

3. Nervous System (Brain, Spinal Cord, Nerves)

Brain: The control center of the body, responsible for thinking, memory, and coordination.

Spinal Cord: Transmits signals between the brain and the body.

Nerves: Carry messages from the brain to different body parts.

4. Circulatory System (Heart & Blood Vessels)

Heart: Pumps blood throughout the body.

Blood Vessels:

Arteries: Carry oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the body.

Veins: Carry oxygen-poor blood back to the heart.

Capillaries: Connect arteries and veins, allowing exchange of oxygen and nutrients.

5. Respiratory System (Lungs & Airways)

Nose & Mouth: Take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide.

Trachea (Windpipe): Connects the mouth to the lungs.

Lungs: Oxygenate the blood and remove carbon dioxide.

6. Digestive System (Stomach, Intestines, etc.)

Mouth: Chews food and mixes it with saliva.

Esophagus: Transfers food to the stomach.

Stomach: Breaks down food with acids and enzymes.

Small Intestine: Absorbs nutrients from food.

Large Intestine: Absorbs water and forms waste.

7. Excretory System (Kidneys, Urinary Bladder, etc.)

Kidneys: Filter waste from the blood and produce urine.

Urinary Bladder: Stores urine before excretion.

8. Endocrine System (Hormones & Glands)

Pituitary Gland: The "master gland" that controls other glands.

Thyroid Gland: Regulates metabolism.

Adrenal Glands: Help control stress response.

Pancreas: Produces insulin to regulate blood sugar.

9. Reproductive System (Male & Female Organs)

Male: Testes produce sperm and testosterone.

Female: Ovaries produce eggs and hormones like estrogen.

10. Integumentary System (Skin, Hair, Nails)

Skin: The largest organ, protects the body, and regulates temperature.

Hair & Nails: Provide protection and enhance sensory perception.
